Happy Valentine's Day!

Here in Australia we're a little ahead of most of the world.
It's already Valentine's here!

So this post goes out to my gorgeous Adonis, Jai.

He is my muse, the odd little things he does inspire me everyday.

The first time I saw Jai was in a calendar for "Men of the Melbourne Goth Forum" *swoons*
Clickable to check out the hawtness!

Check out the nails!

These two were shot and edited by me.
He had just woken up and I started harassing him with my camera!

I love you baby.

Now, for what you came for!
Now at first glance this manicure may not seem very romantic - but on my 21st birthday Jai got me a lovely ring, with topaz (my birthstone) and diamonds set in gold.
Normally I wear a lot of silver and black, my bridge piercing is surgical steel and I hate clashing metals in my jewellery.
But I'll make an exception for him. :)

So this manicure is one of the new colours I picked up in order to go with my ring. :) I have one more new colour to show you but you'll have to be patient!

The inspiration

Close up to show sparkles and shimmer

It's a very pale gold with super fine shimmer in it. The shimmer occasionally shows flashes of colour - as in the picture above.

Sorry for the bubbles again - it has to be the humidity here, as this is without base or top coat after cleaning my nails with acetone.

Love,

Scandalous - gold normally makes me look weird but the is such a pale gold and not brassy or yellow so its wearable. Still deciding on the background but i figured out how to make it work!

Elizabeth - thanks so much! He's super tall and can look menacing but he's really sweet.

Thanks so much! :)
The ring is not my usual style but I love it because it's from the Boy.
