New polish... decisions decisions...

Hello lovelies!

I am in dire need of help.
I want to buy some polishes online but because I have never used most of these brands I don't even know what polishes I should be lemming after!

I love holos and fun colours as well as vampy colours - tell me 5 polishes you think I need to have right now!

Love,

Hello. :)
If you love holos, Color Club has some excellent (and affordable) ones. These are available at most of the big online NP sellers (Trans Design, Victoria's Nail Supply, Head 2 Toe Beauty, etc.). The three CC holo colors that stand out (you can find swatches on a lot of NP blogs) are Revvvolution ( a deep grey holo), Wild at Heart (a mid/deep toned purple holo and Worth the Risque (a silver holo).

I second the Nfu-Oh flakies. They also have some excellent holos in pastel shades. These can be found at Fabulousstreet.com.

BTW - Color Club has some nice Vampy colors, too.

China glaze has the OMG holo collection, Color Club has Revvvolution, worth the risque and Fashion addict. Those are my favorite holo's.

It's hard to pick just 5! Here are a couple specific colors & a couple of other ideas

-China Glaze Ruby Pumps
-China Glaze Atlantis
-Color Club Wild At Heart
-China Glaze OMG (or other holos from the collection)
-At least one - if not more - from the OPI Designer Series ... a couple of my favorites are DS Fantasy & DS Exclusive
-Something from Rescue Beauty Lounge ... although if you can hold out until they have a sale it will be less painful in the pocket =)

Thess - that is one I've been looking at for some time now! I've got some Essie matte about you on order and found a NFU-Oh retailer right here in melbourne! Yay!

Rebekah - whoa nice choices! I especially love that you added colour descriptions for me so I don't have to find swatches of which colour is which. Thanks!

Evil Angel - thanks so much! I ADORE your nails.

Collette - wow! Love the colours you picked! You're almost making me sorry I asked - I need them all now!

You might wanna hold off on hauling for just a second :) Cuz I haz a pkg for you with some goodies and you don't wanna waste $$ on stuff you might dupe. :)
That being said, I love China Glaze holos but you risk extortion $$ getting them on ebay. Color Club has some kick ass holos, although I prefer Diamond Cosmetics Chainmail Charm to CC Revvvolution, Glitter Gal has some kick ass holos. I'll try to find the Milani holos for you :)

Some of the new Wet n Wilds are pretty, and cheap too!
I think ChG VII would be pretty on you as well as Tempest.
Nubar Reclaim too maybe. Pretty green Holo. Nubar Peacock Feathers is pretty damned amazing.

Bad, bad... because you're going to buy more than 5 polishes if you ask for recommendations. :D
Anyway, here are my choices for you (inspired by your face on your avatar):

- Essie "Material Girl". It's a straight jelly black red (with a hot pink undertone). Nothing unseen or anything but it's the perfect jelly vampy and it applies without a streak.
- Color Club "Wild at Heart". It's a dark purple holo. I don't imagine it anything but at its best on your beautiful nails.
- Urban Decay "Bruise". It' the kind of polish I'd buy only for the name.... It's a jelly dark purple/plum with a green/teal duochrome. Very unique and beautiful. It really looks like a bad bruise. It's very glossy and so easy to apply (it's still foundable at some UK evilbay sellers at very reasonable prices. I think I had mine for 3£ or something).
- Diamond Cosmetics "Chainmal Charm". Charcoal holo. It's cheap and it's beautiful.
- China Glaze "OMG". Silver holo. You can't go wrong with that one. When I wear it, I constantly watch my nails. Horribly distracting. It's opaque in one coat so it's great for nail art. (I got it for $2,99 US on ebay +4,5 of shipping - so it's not that expensive) :)
- China Glaze "Ruby Pumps"... Dark cherry red jelly with small glitters. I'm astonished you don't have this one. No picture you'll see online will ever make justice to this perfect beauty. You totally have the style for this classic polish. It's gorgeous on pale skin.

(PS - You are drop dead GORGEOUS - I'm nothing but sincere)

Jellynat - but that was the plan! I figured asking for 5 from each should mean I never run out of ideas!

I actually have bruise! I think I know what my net mani will be now :)
I've been lusting after ruby pumps for a while now.

Oh! Thank you so so much. I adore you photographic work on your blog - it's the main reason I'm following you!
