Tangle Teezer

Hello Ladies!
Just another quick post to let you all know that my Tangle Teezer arrived today!

What a surprise when I open the package to find I did not get it in default black - but HOT PINK!

I have very fine wavy colour treated hair that snarls constantly and looks like it needs brushing every 5 minutes. The main reason for this being that 3 years ago my hair was the exact colour of my new tangle teezer and I am still repairing the damage I did to it.

In a word - whoa.

[From the websiteTangle Teezer’s unique teeth configuration delivers a dual action of rapid, pain-free detangling and dramatically reducing hair breakage, splitting and damage as well as polishing the hair for high shine.

I'm not sure about pain free - it does catch in my hair on knots like any other brush - but it moves through the knots, detangling them. I had a couple of automatic "ouch" moments, but this time it was a little tug on my hair, not the brush becoming wedged, matted and making a bigger mess than before as I struggle to tear it away from my head.

I love it.

Thank you soo much to Sasha from nihrida.blogspot.com

I'm definitely recommending this one to anyone with Snotties (mini-humans) or anyone with hair that is a nightmare to brush.

I want to know, what's been you best ever beauty buy? Something you just can't live without?

Love,
Photobucket

So glad to see you like it too! =) I find it best to brush gently with my palm on one side and brush on the other side of ma hair. It takes a few more strokes, but it's painless. =)

Wow Sasha thanks for the tip - i'll have to try that.

I'm also looking forwards to trying it when my hair is wet instead of a comb, something I've never been brave enough to do with a brush!

Hey Congrats again on that win! Cool that it's HOT PINK!
Best Beauty find for me is WEN hair care. http://www.wenhaircare.com/ for info, but I get mine from QVC or Amazon for less.
I've run out recently and thought I'd save a little money and use Garnier Fructis somethin or other and it's so obvious that shampoo and conditioner just don't work to do anything other than dry the carp out of your hair.
I'm getting me some WEN asap.

Ooh I've heard of that - damned late night tv!
I didn't know anyone that had tried it an was sceptical, but now I might just give it a go!

(Also - I giggled inanely at "dry the carp out of your hair" - i'm not giving you shit for a typo - everyone does it - but the mental image I got was waaay too funny.

And YAY PINK. Sasha has a special deal going with the TT's if you want to try it...

I could not live without my little extraction doohickey. My pores clog something awful, and it keeps me from looking like a greasy old hag

Scandalous - AHA! I'm the same. And seriously, I think doohickey is the scientific name for them.
:P
