A GAME!

Okay kids, I have a game I want to play!

See the little iPod in my sidebar? I want YOU to pick a song you have NEVER heard by a band you've NEVER heard of. Check the comments and make sure it hasn't been picked. Listen to it all the way through. Then tell me what you think... Even if you HATE it.

(Also - if you say there are no songs you've never heard... I don't believe you.)

THEN I want you to recommend a song you think I'll NEVER have heard before.

Now PLAY WITH ME!

[NB: some songs have naughty words.]

Love,

when death embrace me- this song was perfect for me today. I just put it in my zune rotation.
as for a song I doubt you've heard, The Raconteurs "Old Enough". I live close to Nashville, so I hear ALOT of this type music

I picked Dir en grey because I've heard most of your mix...hehe a lot of it I was listening to when you were just wee little thing. It's a little too HIM wannabe with a little screamo tossed it. I love HIM but not fond of bands that sound too similar.
I have a couple of songs for you:

Resurrection by Venom (I'm hoping you have heard of them as they are the Origon of Black metal started in the late 70's and still brutal today)http://www.myspace.com/venomlegions

Empty Words by Death (Another huge influence on Death metal and all genres of morib, macabre music and the guitar is badass)
http://www.myspace.com/ripdeathchuck

I would suggest some punk but If you listen to the circle jerks chances are you listen to the same Punk bands as I do. :)

Ok! fun Game!!!
I picked Grendel - Zombienation and um, Techno is NOT what I expecting. I don't really like Techno much anyway and thought this song was silly but it made me laugh and I even did some chair dancing! hehehe!

Song you've never heard but that still speaks to me today - it's an oldie - Pat Benatar's "Fight It Out" and yes you can find it on YouTube. And I would be interested in hearing what you think of it.

I liked this too :) I picked Juke Joint Jezebel by KMFDM and I loved it, it was right up my alley. The sound reminded me of a lot of music I like, so I'm not surprised! It's catchy.
You may or may not know this, and I'm not sure if you'd like it, but it's a song I love, not too well known, by AC/DC - It's A Long Way To the Top (If You Wanna Rock N Roll) - I just love the bagpipes in it, what can I say? Pretty easy to find on YT.

Scandalous - I'm going to check it out now

Evil Angel - Haha I realised I'd have to throw in a couple of weirdness songs to catch you out. Dir En Grey can be a bit HIM like, but they can be a bit more nuts too. It also lets me know how my Japanese studies are going haha! Oh an awesome choices! Have heard of resurrection of venom but now am doing to make a dedicated effort to get into it properly.

Elizabeth - OH GOD thats awesome. Wow I thought eveyone must have heard that song heehee. Yay for chair dancing.

Nicole - Haha yep i definitely know that song! (I'm an Aussie) the amount of times i've heard rugby bogans shrieking "its a long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll!" into their beers... priceless...
