Vault 101: Ruby pumps + nail foil!

Hello lovelies!
Okay so this one is pretty self explanatory!
I've used the infamous Ruby Pumps as a base coat and then tried the lace foil over the top!
I LOVE this!

Blurred to show the ruby pumps amazingness!

Sorry for the quick post - I'm so tired after work now!
But hey, I'm posting!

I'm back...ish

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't posted in ages, work has kept me very busy, with that and fixing my mad sleeping pattern I haven't had much time to myself! I'll set up blogger to do a couple of posts this week so my blog isn't being ignored!

So here's the polish I was wearing for pretty much all of this week!
You've all seen it a billion times by now, but I just love it!
China Glaze - Ruby Pumps
I won this in Tiffani's (Yardsticks 4 Lunatics) giveaway!

Ew, working with paper all day is wreaking freaking havok with my hands... they're disgusting.
Oh and excuse the wear on the above pics, these were taking on day 4! *blush blush*
Hopefully I'll have this working/blogging thing sorted very soon.

I love you all and miss you so much!

Nail art... ...abstract impressionism is art, right?

Hello everyone.

Before you see these, I'm sorry.
I really, truly am.

I should only show you beautiful, gorgeously manicured nails.
I shouldn't show you this.

I shouldn't be laughing.

But seriously, if these guys had legs, i'd be telling them to RUN not walk to crazy town.

First off I'll let you know how this came about. I got three polishes from China Glaze's Ink collection. Being a MANIAC for purple I've known for ages that I had to get Flying Dragon. I also picked up Japanese Koi and Blue Sparrow.

Next, I wanted to do some nail art with these guys. Initially wanting to do something tattoo themed, the idea crumbled as I created these monstrosities...

Why on earth did I attempt something so ambitious?
Because I wanted to.

And I hoped it would have one of two results:
a) something AMAZING
b) something HILARIOUS.

Which do you think it was?

NB:
The first one is a BIRD.
Those are clouds.

The second one is a FISH.
Those are flowers in the water.
FLOWERS CAN FLOAT!

What I used:
BIRD:
Chi Chi - Mermaid
China Glaze - Blue Sparrow
Stargazer UV Nail Art Pen - UV Yellow
The Face Shop - BK901
Stargazer - White

FISH;
China Glaze - Blue Sparrow
China Glaze - Flying Dragon
China Glaze - Japanese Koi

Stargazer UV Nail Art Pen - UV Yellow
The Face Shop - BK901
Stargazer - White

OMG... Konad!

Hi everyone!
My internet was down yesterday, but here's the pics I promised!

I used a fauxnad plate and Orly - Enchanted Green (both from "The Haul") and the flowers from the same plate in China Glaze - BFF.

Oh my good-golly-gosh!

Hi everyone!

In all honesty when I first saw the photos everyone else had one of the OMG collection by China Glaze, I thought to myself "No WAY are they actually going to look that good on me.. it's just awesome lighting... or photoshop... or something..."
WELL.
I stand corrected.
These DO look awesome on me!

I'm going to put some Konad on them! Whee!

Ladies, as you all know I'm new to this - I want to know - what is the polish that destroyed your mind? The one you thought would look okay but NEVER dreamed it would be better than in the pictures you'd seen?

We're not obsessed, we're just best friends!

Hi everyone!

LOL Excuse my random blog title, it's hard coming up with names for this collection without resorting to chat-speak...

Don't know what I'm talking about?

THIS is BFF from China Glaze...

It's nigh on impossible to take a bad photo of this baby! This is under 2 different lights and flash. It ALWAYS looks amazing! I'm obsessively in love with these. I need the whole set!

Not that this wasn't gorgeous enough on it's own - I wanted to add a tiny bit of konad, mostly cos I've been feeling super lazy. So I thought a mini galaxy would work with the amazing starbursts of colour!
This took AGES. I almost gave up - but it looked so cool I couldn't stop! These are teeny stars from fauxnad C01.

Hello right hand! We don't see you round these parts much! haha!

For the stamping I wanted it to be subtle and work with the holo-ey-goodness rather than overpowering it. So when I read that Aussie brand Chi Chi konads well but is very pale and you can see through it - I thought this may be the perfect occasion to try!
The stamping colour is "High Maintenance" - you last saw it when I did my half moon manicure!
Pretty, no?
